Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Bucharest, transfer to the hotel, followed by a panoramic tour of Bucharest and dinner at the best restaurant in Bucharest, Caru cu Bere.
Day 2. Bucharest City Tour
Touristic attractions included: Revolution Square, Parliament Palace - second largest building in the world after the Pentagon, Village Museum, Arch of Triumph, Romanian Athenaeum, Royal Palace, Kiseleff Boulevard, Historical Center.
Parliament Palace - Built by Communist Party leader, Nicolae Ceausescu, the colossal Parliament Palace is the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. The interior is a luxurious display of crystal chandeliers, mosaics, oak paneling, marble, gold leaf, stained-glass windows and floors covered in rich carpets.

Village Museum - Founded by royal decree in 1936, this fascinating outdoor museum, the largest in Europe, covers some 30 acres on the shores of Lake Herastrau in Herastrau Park. It features a collection of 50 buildings representing the history and design of Romania's rural architecture.
​Old Historical Center of Bucharest - Perhaps the city's unique charm can be best observed in the area known as Lipscani, which consists of a jumble of streets between Calea Victoriei, Blvd. Bratianu, Blvd. Regina Elisabeta and the Dambovita River. A once-glamorous residential area, the old city centre is now slowly being refashioned into an upscale neighborhood.
Highlights: Revolution Square, Parliament Palace, Village Museum, Opera House, the Athenaeum, Arch of Triumph, Kiselleff Boulevard.

Day 3. Bucharest - Snagov Monastery - Peles Castle in Sinaia - Brasov Tour & Accommodation

In the morning we will start our journey to the town of Brasov. On the way we will stop for a visit at Snagov Monastery, a little monastic settlement in the middle of the lake where lies Dracula's tumb.
​
Our second stop will be in Sinaia, to visit Peles Castle, an astounding Royal residence, dating from the end of the 19th century.
​
In the afternoon enjoy a tour of Brasov medieval town. Highlights: Black Church, Citadel of Brasov, Ecaterina's Gate, White Tower, Black Tower, The Blacksmiths Bastion, The Weavers Bastion, The Ropemakers Bastion, The Drapers Bastion.

​Day 4. Brasov - Bran Castle aka Dracula's Castle - Rasnov Fortress - Free time in Brasov & Accommodation

Discover one of the most famous sights in Romania, Bran Castle also known as Dracula's Castle, a medieval dwelling dating from the 14th century. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker’s Dracula.

Afterwards we will head to the town of Rasnov to explore their amazing fortress. Approximately halfway between Brasov and Bran, lies the town of Rasnov, which was founded around 1225 by German Teutonic Knights. Rasnov’s impressive fortress - was built in the 14th century to protect the people of Rasnov and surrounding villages from the numerous invasions happening at the time. During periods of war, the townsfolk would pick up their cattle and retreat into the fortress.

Day 5. Brasov - Sibiu Tour & Accommodation

On this day you will see an excellent example of German Gothic architecture, Sibiu fortress town. A pedestrian-friendly city with two easily accessible levels: the Upper town, home to Sibiu's historic sites and the Lower town lined with colorful houses on cobblestone streets and bounded by imposing city walls and defense towers
Tour highlights: Evangelical Church, Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, The Bridge of Lies, Historical Center, The Stairs Passage, Brukenthal Museum, Towers and Bastions.


Day 6. Sibiu - Biertan Fortified Church (UNESCO) & Walk in the village - Sighisoara Tour (UNESCO) & Accommodation

Fortified Church of Biertan - The architectonic ensemble from Biertan impresses by a harmonious matching in position, by its aesthetic and historic value and especially by the original substance preserved since the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, characteristics which determined its inclusion on The UNESCO List of World Patrimony.

Sighisoara is one of the few inhabited fortified towns in the world and it provides a splendid example of medieval town planning. Here, all the elements of the medieval world have been perfectly preserved.
Tour highlights: The Clock Tower & History Museum, The Church on the Hill, House of Dracula, The pupils roofed stairways, German cemetery.​


Day 7. Sighisoara - Rupea Fortress - Fortified Church (UNESCO) - Bucharest Accommodation
Rupea Fortress - is one of the most interesting medieval castles in Romania. Starting the 14th century, the citadel is guarded by thick strong walls, the fortress is located on top of a hill near the Carpathian Mountains.

Fortified Church of Prejmer - One of Eastern Europe’s best preserved fortified churches lies 16 km northeast of Brasov. Surrounding a cross-shaped church (originally built by the Teutonic knights) are walls 12m high and 4m thick that protected the church and Prejmer’s inhabitants during times of war, when each family would retreat into its own room.
